The pope emeritus Benedict (Cardinal Ratzinger) has passed away. He is the first pope in nearly 600 years to have stepped down from the papacy (and a member of the Hitler youth during his childhood in the Third Reich). Coming on the heels of queen Elizabeth II‘s (“Er lies-a-bitch”) as Peter Tosh would say) passing, seems some of Babylons old leadership is passing away.
