My mom has used recipes/advice from this book since I was a child. You can read a lot of it though on the link I have given. A very good read. There is also lots of interesting advice on the medicinal qualities of different trees/tree barks, which is interesting too.

Ok people i wha know de i thoughts. Brown vs white vs red / wild / black RICE Knowing that brown and red and black rice is more nutritional. But that they contain the outer shell which has phytic acid an antinutrient (nutrient blocker) inna it. Should InI just stick to white rice and full up the plate with additional foods / veg to boost the lack of nutrients whe white rice have? Or take the risk with 'coloured' rice and hope say the phytic antinutrient doesnt block out too much? Its a tricky thing
