I am the first one to say race, religion, countries, nations and ethnicities are all trivial, superficial, circumstantial man-made boundaries that should be transcended in order to really unite humanity. On the other hand, while we call for an end to these things, we must be really aware of how and who these "labels" benefited and who suffered and still continues to suffer because of them. It is easy to say end talk about race or nationality and flags but the implications of these things are still very real and first need to be dealt with before we can talk about ending talk about these things.
