Interesting...I was just having a conversation with a sistren a few days ago on this subject. I don't have a "professional" opinion to offer, as I'm not knowledgeable enough in this "new age" field.
I refer to it as such because the concept of guiding and motivating an individual and/or a collective towards success in life is an ancient one. We call them our ancestors, parents, elders, griots, high priest, healers, and so on...
Im naturally suspicious when it comes to these Babylon fields/institutions. Personally, I wouldn't seek a "life coach" nor more then I would a psychiatrist. For several reasons; I can't wrap my mind around the idea of trusting (and paying) a stranger with my mind. Or life. Who are they? Do we share the same cultural background? How are they living? It is said that psychiatrists are some of the most screwed up folks! LOL!
I can only fully trust my heart, mind, life unto the hands of my Self/Ancestors and the Divine Creative Forces.
Without being "penciled in" or monetary payment!
