Pardon this sub-topic.....

just curious if anyone heard this song.....

Both in the beginning of "Dawn of the Dead"; and the end credits of "The Hunted", I think it's one Johnny Cash. Did you hear the lyrics to it? It took me a few times because I don't like the sound of country music... but the lyrics are FIRE.

I wish I could hear a song on something similar to Bob Marley's newer album (where the Marley Kids remade his songs with other artists) a song combining Johnny Cash's song with Bob's "Natural Mystic" They would go well (lyrically) together.

If the I them get the chance, listen to that song.

Respect.

These are the lyrics to that song I heard. Keep in mind, only the chorus is sung, averything else is spoken... by an older man's voice
I've never had much respect for the kind of music, but this man makes me think there's more to it. I and I will look into more of his music. I hope you see why I was thrown off by it.

"When The Man Comes Around" -Johnny Cash

There's a man going around taking names
And he decides who to free and who to blame
Everybody won't be treated all the same
There'll be a golden ladder reaching down
When the Man comes around

The hairs on your arm will stand up
At the terror in each sip and in each sup
Will you partake of that last offered cup?
Or disappear into the potter's ground
When the Man comes around

Chorus:
Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers
One hundred million angels singing
Multitudes are marching to the big kettledrum
Voices calling, voices crying
Some are born and some are dying
It's Alpha and Omega's kingdom come

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree
The virgins are all trimming their wicks
The whirlwind is in the thorn tree
It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks

Till Armageddon no shalam, no shalom
Then the father hen will call his chickens home
The wise man will bow down before the thrown
And at His feet they'll cast their golden crowns
When the Man comes around

Whoever is unjust let him be unjust still
Whoever is righteous let him be righteous still
Whoever is filthy let him be filthy still
Listen to the words long written down
When the Man comes around

Chorus:
Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers
One hundred million angels singing
Multitudes are marching to the big kettledrum
Voices calling and voices crying
Some are born and some are dying
It's Alpha and Omega's kingdom come

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree
The virgins are all trimming their wicks
The whirlwind is in the thorn tree
It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks

-----Blessed Be

I did look into his other songs, and .... well the man seems very wise. It's a shame I only find out about him now. This is another interesting one that I found by him. (Never heard it though):

From the hands it came down
From the side it came down
From the feet it came down
And ran to the ground
Between heaven and hell
A teardrop fell In the deep crimson dew
The tree of life grew

And the blood gave life
To the branches of the tree
And the blood was the price
That set the captives free
And the numbers that came
Through the fire and the flood
Clung to the tree
And were redeemed by the blood

From the tree streamed a light
That started the fight
'Round the tree grew a vine
On whose fruit I could dine
My old friend Lucifer came
Fought to keep me in chains
But I saw through the tricks
Of six-sixty-six

And the blood gave life
To the branches of the tree
And the blood was the price
That set the captives free
And the numbers that came
Through the fire and the flood
Clung to the tree
And were redeemed by the blood

From his hands it came down
From his side it came down
From his feet it came down
And ran to the ground
And a small inner voice
Said "You do have a choice."
The vine engrafted me
And I clung to the tree

Blessed Be

A safari message is down plaid for the improvement of the goals. The theme of the town and superiorpapers review aspires for the mid of the classics. The motive is ensured for the modification of the parts. The role is played for the indication of the instruments. string is held fast for the commonly carried items for the paths.
