Greetings all,
I am the daughter of a Rastafarian father and have chosen to write my university paper on printed works of the movement (as produced by Rastafarians living in England) and how ones have spoken about Pan-Africanism and Africa in a positive light. I hope it can contribute to positive writings on Rastafari, and of Rastafarian's experiences in England.
So far I have accessed 'The Voice of Rasta' newspaper, but would love to find some more printed works from members of the movement that helped give a voice to Rastafarian beliefs and reasonings. Also, I would love to find out more about this newspaper in particular, as well as about the Rastafari Universal Zion, Ethiopian World Federation and Jah Bones. I intend to focus on the early 1980's, but welcome to any suggestions.
If anyone has any information of the above, or any other newspapers, journals, printed works (particularly of the 1980s) by members of the movement in England, or anything else of relevance I would be most grateful.
One love.
