That's true, G.A.: Classifications are not inherently bad. They are essential to language and are frequently used as well-meaning generalizations, in our daily communications, which allow us to discuss past and/or current events, geographic distributions, etc. (e.g., using nationalities in describing an historic event or a global travel experience).
What IS evil is when Babylon uses said classifications "to confuse our minds into inflicting divisiveness, prejudice, separation/segregation and (sometimes) violence upon one another". This brainwashing by Babylon to foment the divisive and separatist/isolationist mentality (i.e., keep us apart) is the Babylon System's trick of deception against which RastafarI struggle continually.
I&i will ForIver cherish the words of my now-deceased Bugandan brother Sam Kiwanuka as we talked late one evening in 1992 on the veranda of his home in Kampala:
“The ancestors of all humanity spread out from here in the heart of Africa. The truth of the matter is: You are as African as I am.”
JAH bless, Sam, and the way in which he embraced & honored his fellow human beings. What a wonderful, welcoming person he was. His work to alleviate the suffering of the direct & indirect victims of AIDS in Uganda was truly inspiring.
