JAH - Burn JC and Burn bible

I would agree with the notion of knowing how to express love and treat others well, without reading the bible. This is taught from InI parents and all faiths worldwide...but I will disagree with the notion that Ini should burn the bible, once you burn something there is no return, unless the I uses the fyah to purify, but your purification is not great enough to purify it, like Garvey said, ones begin to put themselves above Jah.....that's not how it should go...humble thyself. Rastafari need the passionate Elders that kept the youths humble and used the bible to teach WORD, SOUND, and POWER.

Leonard Howell and Hibbert, also Rev James Webb, were Christian street preachers,revivalist so they were already reading the bible and due to their diligent study of it, saw the coronation of Haile Selassie I as Jesus Christ returned. They were looking for Christ and found HIM on 1930 with the biblical titles bestowed upon HIM.

InI bible speaks of Haile Selassie I, so why would InI burn it?

Without the bible there will be no Rastafari movement, there will be no revelation from the Elders saying that Ini is in the time of Revelations, there will be no overstanding that Christian is not the New Name but Rastafari.

Although there is some great points being made, one thing must be overstood...don't bite the hand that feeds you. How many of the I dem, was uplifted by the lyrics of the true roots artist who chanted the name of Jah (Psalms 68:4), and fed you scripture to edify and free up ur mind, now that I see the light, now the I want to burn the book that gave the I the light. What a ting? I question the I light, because a house divided won't stand.

Like I said to burn something means it wont come back, it done, no more, the remains are ashes being carried by the wind to remain a memory, can no longer be duplicated or recited.

Burn the bible is some strong choice of words.

Follow the teaching of His Majesty or at least Raspect it, for he said that he glories in it, now you want to burn away his glory to...what ah ting?

When one researches, they will notice that Melchezidek was of the Kemet faith, and he passed the mantle onto Abraham....Jesus Christ or Iyesus Kristos...to be then passed onto Rastafari who acknowdledges all its roots just like Haile Selassie I, who knew of the Kemet teachings, for he is Jah but knows that this time is bible time.

Same teachings different name....so if you burn the bible, you then burn Kemet, you then burn yourself, and will soon find yourself trying to re-invent the wheel without its manual.

Christ was a Jew

Yet Christians don't call themselves Jews, do not follow traditional Jewish teachings and don't read Jewish texts. The bible is not the Torah....

So in the same essence, we as rasta do not have to and will not take on the religion of HIM nor it's accompanying book

Yes I, the I will burn Kemet as well...look pass the surface...There is no "true religion" for HIM says that Religion is personal...so if there is a true religion then that means 1 out of many are living a true faith, cuz everyones religion is different no matter what church they go to together, cuz man is not perfect, not unifrom.....he also said "that within all the different faiths there is a remarkable unity of spirit", so its not the title you call yourself, Jew, Muslim, Rasta, Egyptologist for each one influenced the other, is this not so? in fact Jah Rastafari said it,

Because I follow the Teaching of His Majesty, I now overstand in full that a Kingdom divided against it self wont stand. The Spirit is in all of these faiths, and by man trying to burn one avenue the spirit dwells, you take the place of God by trying to divide his plan....but its not the Spirit that won't stand, it is Foriver here, foriver working, foriver true. It is the Kingdom of God in you that will be crippled, not able to stand...not fully functional or able to recieve the Iniversal Spirit cuz you took it upon yourself to reject what the Almighty chose to feed you. Remember the Spirit of Truth says he takes the foolish things of the World to confound the wise. People who haven't even read this scripture knows this to be true based off their day to day experience, of thinking they know better than what the Spirit/Jah tells them to do. The History of man have always try be like God and have always came up short, that's why submission to good influcenes are key, like love. Jah Rastafari is merciful and gracious and is everywhere. Many are called but only a few are chosen, meaning only a few will overstand, and these chosen will be rejected by the LOGICAL man.

Don't get me wrong I think it is amazing that today man can trace the source of the bible to Kemet, but before this was even known how many was enlightened by the bible. Spiritual writings will always remain spiritual and nothing can shake that foundation. But a mans mind can be shaken because we are not the source but the vessel trying to return back to the creator.

Jah guide Haile Selassie I lives physically, how many truly know that and don't just believe? Very few I say based off what they say in his name

All of the three major Western Religions were plagiarized from Ancient culture including Indian, Chinese, Sumerian.... and more significanly for I... African culture, mainly in Kemet.
And king... I BUN Egyptology..... Egyptology is the most racist subject one could ever study.
Egyptology and the study of Kemet / Kemetic science are two very differing entities. Dr Jochannen has explained this in detail.

The Bible steals original concepts and doesnt reference them, and puts them down as 'Gods word' with no mention that the practices have been ongoing for millenia.
In addition to this, the Bible paints a picture of 'Wicked Egypt, 'Wiked Pharoah'

- Originally you couldnt TALK to many rasta about Egypt Couldnt even mention WICKED Egypt.

The bible did that....

And then shifted the focus from Africa to the Middle East, a periphery, an unnecessary side focus of our attention coincidentally at the same time the European has plans to take over 'savage' Africa.

I honestly believe the bible has done more HARM to Africa / Africans as a whole, than good. The points listed in my first post are just the tip of the iceberg....

I choose NOT to define and see Haile Selassie through a book of secondary confusion and Roman antics. I man search for the Root. The Bible is not the root of anything...

Christianity and the Christian bible if personified would be a 3rd generation bastardised orphan child who doesn't know himself.

To even utter the wordsound 'God' or 'Jesus' naturally conjures up a pre-defined Roman definition of these entities. So we as Rasta must always say "God... and what i mean by that is...." always have to explain ourselves when using these words. The answer - don't use them! There is a reason when Muslims took on the Bible and released their own version, they changed the name of the life essence / creative force from GOD to ALLAH.

The only surviving modern religion which holds onto and references ANCIENT culture is Hinduism - the duality of one god seen through many manifestations of the one 'god', the 7 Chakkras (from Kemet), the BLACKNESS of their Gods...... the similarites of Krishna and Jesus or Abraham and Brahma......

Rasta search for the root. The African root....

What were the Ethiopians practicing pre 4th Century AD? And how can all of that knowledge help Iand I in this time? In terms of spiritual and physical freedom.
