Rastafari has nothing to do with reggae music, Reggae music has a lot to do with Rastafari

Reggae wouldnt be what it is today without Rastafari, Rastafari is the same yesterday, today and forever more, with or without reggae.

True statement my lord.

JAH RASTAFARI cut and clear the way.

Although, in my opinion reggae music can serve as a first eye-opener and a stepping stone, but once one is on this wonderful trod in life called RASTAFARI, reggae music has more or less served its purpose.

Reggae can easily become a distraction and a turnaway, for example reggae concerts and clubs and what not taking place on fridays, making one pollute one's holy sabbath.

Therefore one should leave childish things behind and strive for perfection and righteousness, and pursue that mystical union with the Black Christ in flesh.

Things I used to do before - I do them no longer
Places I used to go to - I go there no longer
Things I used to say - I say them no longer

All glory and honour be unto the most high King SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI
