Yes i, i never got to read that book as well as i would have wished.
I never had a copy of i own, used to have an idren who had it and i read a little here and there
But im always on the lookout for a copy, so if the i know of any, let i know

The Holy Piby was written by Robert Athlyi Rogers, who founded an Afrocentric religion in the US and West Indies in the 1920s. Rogers' religious movement, the Afro Athlican Constructive Church, saw Ethiopians (in the Biblical sense of Black Africans) as the chosen people of God, and proclaimed Marcus Garvey, the prominent Black Nationalist, an apostle. The church preached self-reliance and self-determination for Africans.

The original is very rare. There are no copies listed in either the Library of Congress or the University of California catalogs, which is highly unusual. The Holy Piby was banned in Jamaica and other Caribbean Islands in the middle and late 1920s. Today the Holy Piby is acclaimed by many Rastafarians as a primary source.

well, i do already know the history behind the book and i overs the overview of it....but like i said....looking for a copy iyah...obviously the i reading it, lol, so there must be copies around

I have purchased both autobiographies and speeches of Selassie I from this company. I always received I books quickly from them and never had any issues.

In I years of trodding with other RasTafarI people, I never heard of people mentioning that book. The first time I heard of it was from internet forums. After I heard of it on the Internet, some RasTafarI I know have made mention of it, but I hardly hear anything about it still.

Some people on the internet call it the Rasta Bible. I don't really think that is an accurate title for it, especially since it seems that most RasTafarI don't deal with it.

I get the feeling he was writing down dreams and visions he had.

Words are mightier than the man, for real. Always.

It is evident that his visions were mightier than he had capacity to overstand, clearly seeing as he killed his self. That must have been a lot of serious mental tension for the man.

I have a copy of the book. I like it, it is certainly fascinating. The chapter called "a buggy from London to Tokyo..." is very eye opening. He is expressing a hypothetical scenario of celestial planetary changes... shifting of plates type thing. And in the context of this whole "global warming" debate, it is very amusing to read. Especially considering that these were not the topics during his lifetime.

I don't think we need another bible though, do we? lol

I love the visions and the wordsounds of an awakening of the glorious generations of Ethiopia, ordained unto glory of humanity. Can't wrong him for that at all.
