Don't believe everything you hear, but either of what you say could be tru, I dont think Selassie had the same distaste and dislike of the Pope and Catholicism as we do today. Selassie was a so called Christian if im not mistaken.

I was watching an icumentary once about Honourable Marcus Mosiah... and some of the original UNIA members were talking about how they felt when they first went to see him speak... And this Lovely Incient Iawta was saying that when Marcus spoke, it was like everything she ever wanted to say but never had the words.
