Suffering
As the child bows her head for her mother to poor bottled water on her head,
She wonders were is the help that should be promised to her,
The water polluted after coming over her face with tears,
Tears of suffering & a broken heart for people have died all around her,
People are raging in the streets for help,
So bewildered with fear and the thought that this was the apocalypse they kill one another,
These people commiting these acts of wickedness have to take the time to stop & think,
But you cannot place blame when they have relatives dieing right next to them,
The girl calmly asks her mother & father who are both suffering from hunger,
I thought we lived in the greatest nation on this Earth.
The Cage
Why does it hurt to live in a Cage?
Why does the holder tell you to stay calm?
Why must you slave for no earnings?
Because you cannot make progress,
Because the holder knows your equal but trys to difuse the idea,
Because your suffering in the cage of poverty & oppression.
