A famous rasta Mutabaruka recently explained how Christianity isn't african. Why do you even use the bible? Do you use it, just because Selassie used it??

Can't see the holyness of this book in rastafari

isn't it as holy as the Quran, buddism and all other books?

You must explain further on what Muta says.

The Bible takes place in Kush, in Egypt, Israel is later mixed with the entire African landscape and the land of Caanan. Christianity was established in Alexandria. And the first convert was an Ethiopian..

Muta is a wise wise wise Rastafari elder.

He doesn't believe one NEEDs the bible to VALIDATE Haile Selassie as the Almighty and to sight Rastafari.

He doesn't believe the Bible to be a book of literal factual history.

And I wouldn't believe him to exhalt the book above other 'holy texts'

Yet and Still,

The man has studied the bible for decades.... and is well versed with it.

Bredda JesseP made an important point recently - According to Google, 30% of the World is Christian and therefore with some form of biblical belief, and 25% Muslim. With this in mind, it wouldnt be the worse idea to keep enough familiarity with both religious philosophy's so that one can reason / teach fellow I dem, meeting them at their current level of understanding.

Bless up GARVEYS AFRICA
For I it's just common sense that a book written by human can't be the only source to the almighty.

For I the bible is written by human inspired by god.

Im so tired of seeing so many Rastafari people judging Muta saying he ain't a real rasta just because he burn the bible.

Although Rastafari is a spiritual black power movement that was made to free jah Africans from slavery, I feel that there are many rastas that are still in mental slavery. It's sad to believe in bible stories more than reality. It's especially sad to judge your rastafari bredren who woke up thousands of africans just because of a book.

Rastafari lives in each of InI

people are so blind.

why are we so blind...

why do we not think for ourselves...

MUTU said this and that... so i gana follow this and that,,,
MUTU has some points but overall i dont care for what he says,
he doesnt mean anything to me.. only selassie christ does.

Like the bredda said... the bible originate in africa
the israelites were african.. they were living in egypt..
this mean that christ was african, as he was also an israelite

so why would you burn out the bible?
only fools
blind people leading the blind.

Christianity is not European. True Christianity is not of this world. I am saying it is not confined to a source on this planet, for JAH so loved the world he SENT his Son.......to this world that who ever believes shall not perish but have ever living life, John 3:16

As for the Church, it seems to be a Earthly institution, yet, can we put a nationality or race on it? I think not. Read what the King of Kings has to say on the topic here:
