I love the hadith of the Prophet, that story about Bilal (Prophet Muhammad's right hand man) comes from the hadith/Sahih al bukhari of which I have read. Just wondering if there was any Muhammadans over here on jah-rastafari.com Adhan is a daily call to prayer as in,
"Bilal, call us to prayer let us be comforted by it..."
"O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and everliving prayer, grant to Muhammad nearness and excellence and raise him to the position of glory thou hast promised to him..."

"O Allah, distance me from my sins as you have distanced the east from the west, distance me from my sins as a white robe is purified of filth,, wash my sins with ice water and hail..." is a good prayer as well as the Fajr, Duhur, Asar, Maghrib (the one above), and Isha prayers

Isha the night prayer is
7 Al Fatiha
7 Al Baqarah
7 Al Ikhlus
7 An Nas
7 Ayat Al Kursi
7 Al Felak

Al Felak, "We seek refuge with Allah, Lord of the Daybreak, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies."

'Being born into slavery, Bilal had no other option but to work for his master, Umayyah ibn Khalaf. Through hard work, Bilal became recognised as a good slave and was entrusted with the keys to the Idols of Arabia..

He was also the first mu'azzin (prayer caller) in the Muslim faith. Rabah is the first person of known African ancestry to become a Muslim.'

I always understood him to be an Ethiopian slave.

Abducted as a child and enslaved by pagan merchants in pre-Islamic Mecca, Bilal was a native of Abyssinia (now Ethiopia). As an adult, while still enslaved, he was tutored in the new faith of Islam by the merchant Abu Bakr, a convert and close associate of the prophet Muhammad.

i find it weird that you come on here and wana talk about allah...

only one god... call god what ever name you want,

but i na go to mosq and pray. been before with a work friend..
this kinda thing is all regimental.. not spiritual.

a time to bow down. a time to rise but not your own time.. someone els.

remembering that he said. religion is a set of rules created by man,
to help man grow spirituality.
but religion has become corrupt, and a tool for power struggle.
yeah. even in the rasta community they turn it into religion now. and power struggle.
