Also,if they were immortal before they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil,why did God say about the tree of life: .. Lest they eat thereof and become like us (meaning:both knowing and immortal).So doesn't that mean they were mortal anyway even before eating the fruit of knowledge since they haven't eaten of the tree of life?
