Idols, no idols, it doesn't matter, people will find a reason to attack either way.
That is what many people like to do, attack and belittle the beliefs, religion, culture, philosophies, race, nationality etc. of other people. Other people around the Israelites had idols and at least appeared to be worshiping the idols, and the Israelites spoke against that practice.
People always do things like that, people attack RasTafarI because they are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Athiest, or other reasons. Same thing goes on between Christians, Muslims, Jewish, Athiest etc..
Some of the I them do the same thing here. Attacking, ridiculing and looking down on the principles of Christianity, Judaism and "Christianity", "Judaism", some which Haile Selassie I deal with, and some that Haile Selassie I doesn't deal with.
For some reason, people are not satisfied with rising their own self and helping others to rise, but feel that they need to belittle, insult, look down on etc. other people. Sometimes people have some valid arguments, and sometimes certain things need to be expressed, but other times, even if the argument has some validity, there is no reason to belittle others over it. If a person wants to believe that a person can walk on water, and make wine from water, that is their choice, just as others have the choice to not believe in those things.
Often when people come an insult and belittle other people's beliefs, they have their own set of beliefs that are just as false and specious. Also, it usually comes to a point where people are insulting anything they can find (because it is not their religion, philosophy, belief etc.), whether or not the argument is valid.
Another example is some people who have come here imagining that they are RasTafarI, until they go towards (whether for the first time or back again) Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Egyptology, or something else. And they are not satisfied with sighting and embracing the new thing which suits their preference (at least for a season), but feel that they need to come back here and insult or speak against Haile Selassie I and RasTafarI people. The funny thing is, a lot of these people, when they imagined they were RasTafarI, felt the need to insult those of other walks of life, and then when they switch to something else, RasTafarI got added to their list of attack targets, and another trod got removed from their list.
Burn the mindset that makes people feel the need to insult and belittle the ways of other people. That is the real Fire that needs to be burned. To clean the hearts and minds of Ones and Ones, so that all their focus is on Rising themselves and others, not bringing themselves or others down.
People should keep track of all the time they spend in their life belittling or insulting others and thinking about new ways to look down on other people. And then think about how much time they could have instead spent on Rising themselves and others.
It is shameful that people call themselves RasTafarI, but have no desire to Learn from the Most High God RasTafarI Haile Selassie I. Haile Selassie would never do the things you do. Haile Selassie I is the Most Loving God of all time. Oneness and Respect are just some of the things that Haile Selassie I Teaches I and I.
People need to grow up and Learn from God. But as it is said, ye are Gods, and all of Ye are Children of the Most High, but ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
