This thread is for the burning of false bible and Christian doctrine. The fact I made one thread was to avoid over flooding the forum with multiple threads about the same topic. But in this thread here? The bible will be purified and all it's false teachings.

Maybe ones who don't like this reasoning can stick for the 'for bible followers only' thread. Notice I have not posted in there.

I and I much prefer HIM to what many of the things within your bible teach. Which as proven, are not always the ways of His Majesty.

I also prefer Haile Selassie I teachings over the Bible, and use His Teachings as part of I Bible filter. You seem to prefer Muta's teaching over Haile Selassie I.

? When the last time i mentioned Muta was. These are I teachings. InI a Jah Rastafari as one.
Fire have to dash toward the idea of 'Muta teachings' as nothing I have put originates with Muta. And there are no teachings other than the example of how ones live their life and conduct themselves through life. As RastafarI I have respect for all walks of living within this trod, especially coming from the elders.

If I Burn the Bible... its out of a desire to improve the example of how ones live their life.

InI try I best to keep my biblical views - which are not the views of the majority on this website - to the confines of this one thread. Surely you would appreciate this effort, more than a spread of comments and rebuttals here and everywhere - this is how i first came in and the results were mass argument and confusion. Also, I noticed your effort to bring forth reasonings of old in a hope to change the subject to something different - Was it not Garveys Africa first to post / comment in at least 3 of those other threads as to get the ball rolling - to try with you to move on to newer subject matters. If you look at the spread of my topics created you will see I am not limited to one repetitive argument. However, as with reality and worldwide rasta debate and reasoning - these topics of religion / bible are among the most talked about. Every Rasta have the right to their own interpretation.

I also think you agree with me much more than you may know.

You 'filter' through the Bible text with the example of Selassie I Jah.

I recently made a post about the God of Israel - in relation to Moses and the treatment of the Medianite tribe of his wife and children - this God did not seem to be in keeping with the example of Haile Selassie I and his dealings with family / enemies etc.

Is this not one of the same?

When you use a 'filter' for bible interpretation - there are still many Rasta who believe the book to be 100% literal word. So you would be 'Burning' the Bible somewhat to them for anything you filter-out. And vice versa.

Some will say 'Lets focus on the GOOD messages and teachings that the Bible shows and not the negative / corruption'

- these reasonings are needed. Most definitely.
- But the balance would also require a critical analysis of those parts of the Bible which seemingly oppose the life example of Haile Selassie and the Ancients. +To deem a whole nation of Ancients 'wicked' one needs more than just a scripture as evidence. This is what this thread was designed to achieve.

In regard to your comments about my example of the Navel present in the paintings of Adam and Eve - which you classed as foolishness. I wouldn't call this foolish. This is not a Bible Fire but a mindset Fire. The fact for the longest of time the first man and woman are depicted of having a Navel - is in keeping with the Ancient and logical reasoning that we all were born from a womb. Not from the dirt, not from a rib of man. And that Adam and Eve were not the first - at least not in the innerstanding or subconscience of people who on the surface seemingly believed in the Adam and Eve story. If this doesn't resonate with you thats fine. I see a divine irony in such an example.

When I first started reasoning with the I, I sighted the same things from the I that Ark I is sighting now. You kept telling I that I should call myself a Christian; and I said you should call yourself a Mutafari.

Yet that has been your main CONtribution to this forum: Flooding it with "bun" the Bible, Jesus, Christianity, the Trinity (this be His Majesty's Holy Name). Then you a go and claim it is Rasta. Your talk just tries to divide Rasta. Bun that nonsense.

This is a Rasta forum not a Bible purification forum. Nor is this a Bible forum. Only that many Rasta sight the Bible:
1. His Majesty is Christian and said He glories in it and spoke most highly of it.
2. Israel and Ethiopia are interconnected: Ethiopia is New Jerusalem.
3. Ethiopia was the 1st Christian nation dating back to Queen Candice.
4. Many Rasta have Christian roots and sighted Haile Selassie I as Christ: King of kings, Lord of lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and thus fulfilling the Bible they grew up with.

I know where I am from and where I am going.

G.A., if the wants to bun so much of what Haile Selassie loved and was rooted in; why call yourself a Rasta? Maybe go a follow Muta or another KMT of African teaching.

2) How many Pro-Bible / or Burn Garveys Africa threads are created?

And you a talk balance. With that beaten argument. Everything you just put in your argument we have already discussed. This is the circle Ark-I was talking of and you can't see it. I'd love to copy and paste my previous response but I trust you have the ability to scroll and read.

(EDIT: I cant resist deciphering BS. Ethiopia was NOT the first Christian nation thats craZy opinion is opinion and interpretation the same but at least get your history correct.)

I just see the I post the same things in many threads. True you made this thread; but you continue the same posts in other threads making them like this thread.

It is not BS about Ethiopia and Christianity:

The introduction of Christianity into Ethiopia took place in the beginning of the first century A.D. 34 just about four months after the death and resurrection of Christ when St. Philip baptized the Ethiopian Eunuch when he was returning from the Passover feast in Jerusalem as it is narrated in the Acts of the Apostles 8:26-39. The history of Saint Philip the Apostle baptizing the Ethiopian Eunuch is of great significance. The Eunuch was a man of high rank in Ethiopia, the finance minister of Candace, queen of Ethiopia. Upon his return he preached the doctrine of Christ among his countrymen. He was the first to bring the news, although he was not called an Apostle as he deserved. Eusebius speaks of him as the first fruit of the faithful in the whole world. Further at that time Saint Mathew the Apostle preached the Gospel to the Ethiopians he won some converts to the new doctrine and then left the country. (Yesehaq, 13)
The Eunuch baptized Queen Candace in the first century A.D and since then Ethiopia has been ruled and governed by Christians.

Western historians and writers state that Ezana who reigned in Ethiopia about A.D. 320-356 was the first African King who became Christian and made Christianity the official religion of his empire. This is purosely done to make it seem that Rome was first and this would make Ethiopia Christendom�s second state after Constantine declared Rome a Christian state, but this is not so. The declaration of the doctrine of Christ by King Ezana in the fourth century was not done as a new introduction to the people but was done by the Emperor to prove himself as the true Christian leader of the nation and to make Christianity more effective throughout the nation.

Would the same not be true for the opposite? In terms of many of the same things?

Wouldnt it be great if we could all just agree on the Bible? and our love for Jesus Christ as Selassie I Jah. As an example (I've already mentioned) To even state this you would be opposing the Equally Valid points of hundreds of thousands of BoboDreadlocks who do NOT see Selassie as Jesus or Christ and many don't deal with JC at all. I chose the Bobo only because I know everybody is familiar with their teachings. There are many many houses within this mansion. With many differing views and ways to Haile Selassie. You cannot keep thinking you have the exclusive rights, or 'truths.'

In the other reasoning.....

Haile Selassie I has said through his own speeches the origins of Christianity in Ethiopia come from the Coptic Church of Egypt (And the Greeks).

Ethiopia is the second Christian Country of Africa, as Egypt was in Africa too the last time I checked.

But Christianity was in EurAsia (not Rome) before it reached Africa.

- Think the confusions is coming from you saying 'Christian Nation' as suggesting a Nation with an 'official' religion of Christianity. This wasn't until the 4th century, as you put.

Show I the words. I know He spoke of EOC being a daughter church to the one in Alexandria. But this does not negate the fact that Queen Candace was baptized in the 1st century.
