This is copied from a webstie called : http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/Halloween.html

"On October 31st, we celebrate Halloween, thought to be the one night of the year when ghosts, witches, and fairies are especially active.
Why do we celebrate halloween?

The easy answer to this question is that no one really knows the origins of Halloween.

What we do know for sure is that Halloween is on the eve of a major Catholic festival, All Saints (1st November) and the eve of the pagan Celtic festival known as Samhain."

Taken from : http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/halloween/a/History-Of-Halloween.htm
"What does the name 'Halloween' mean?

The name Halloween (originally spelled Hallowe'en) is a contraction of All Hallows Even, meaning the day before All Hallows Day (better known as All Saints Day), a Catholic holiday commemorating Christian saints and martyrs observed since the early Middle Ages on November 1."

so halloween is the day before "all saints day" Bad vibes evil spirits are to be out more on this day apparently, even though bad vibes and foul spirits are everywhere, but man dresses up in horrible outfits and kids run around like riots, vandalising and desterving the peace, deffently a pagan day which i dont wish to be a part of. God Bless Rastafari. Jah Rastafari.
