Love and Only Love, JAH RASTAFARI
General Question:
Does Rastafari need to accept and assert the literal and historical accuracy of the various books we call "The Bible"?
OR
Can InI interpret the scriptures mystically and metaphorically without calling into question the reality of InI faith?
Is there a difference between empirical truth and mystical truth? Is one more "true" than the other?
To be a spitual Rasta mystic must one accept the virgin birth, the Trinity, that a man actually lived inside a giant fish or loaded a boat with 2 (or 7, the Bible contradicts itself often) of every living thing?
LET US REASON WITH PURE HEARTS AND MINDS.
