I have not forgotten about trying to find this quote. Garveys, di I is correct, my bredren did mention having the book, in French. I have not been able to get a copy or picture of that page yet, but am still trying.
Meanwhile, I too went into that link and typed in "pagan" in French (païen) and found that indeed, it IS there, but it will not allow me to see the full text.

Typed in "Christian" in French (chrétien) and it appears twice on the same page. Typed in "Muslim" (Musulman) and it appears one, on the same page again.
Considering the quote "Yes I am Christian, but as King I am equally Christian, Muslim and Pagan", we can see that "Christian" is mentioned twice, muslim once and pagan once.
Until I can actually SEE the quote in the actual book, I won't "swear" by it, but leave it to say that, based on the above findings, I can pretty much deduct that this is the saying in French.
