I dont know what you may call them in your culture and language but in I they are called MHONDORO,(MHO-NDO-RO)(meaning the LION,which represents ancestral spirits),or Svikiro,meaning one who the accommodate the SPIRIT. These hola man are di intermerdiateries to Mwari(the Higher Supreme Being).They are permenantly possessed by di Irits and are consulted usually by di whole village in times of calamity and they are usually known for rain making,healing and oracle revealing. They live just like I an I Rastafari,they grow dread,eat Ital,smoke herb,live in the mountains with their families mostly in caves. I an I want to know if these are the same Ites as Rastafari,after Iman reasoned with many Idrens who consulted elders about dreaming a snake(since they are sacred in Shona culture)and they said one who got dat dream is mostly likely to be having an Ancestral calling and must take action of it. One man advised I to go to I own village to sight the elders and reason with them and I told him dat many elders now gwaan with Christianity and nuh tek our culture seriously any more. The man seh since many in I village are into jesus ting,may be I man might be di chosen one for di Irit and this will mek I have to move frm urban livity to rural mountainous livity. The other thing is,most spirit mediums,the Mhondoro/Svikiro in Shona culture are of the Shoko(Monkey)totem which is Iman totem also.

Bless-sings King! Give thanks for sharing the Ixperiences and dreams. Iwombman do not know about the Mhondoro, but would say, the I may be better equipped to tell I&I if Mhondoro have livity similar to RasTafarI, after meeting with some of these Elders. Haha The I said, "Same Ites as RasTafarI" as in, same Ites as the King of Kings? Or same Ites as this Ital Livity of I&I? Give thanks for the Iducation about the I local culture, and Most High guidance on this life journey as allways, Idren Zion Mtn.

In the same topic of African Irituality and how the Incient cultures compare to RasTa Irits: Iwombman once learned of the Samburu people, who enter Iritual trance state through dancing to drum beats around a fire. These people also wear red because it protects in the wilderness (animals fear the color). Also wear dreadlocks, very neatly styled. Not sure if ganJAH is involved here, but it sounds similar to I&I in quite a few ways! One main difference: these people eat almost all-meat diet! One Love and One Life still. The mhondoro is a Shona priest to di Shona people who had reached higher state of consciousness thru livity,just like how the levites are di priests to di jewish people. They live in Ancient Hola Mountains,usually in caves with their families,they are pure Italists,nattydreads,only wearing beads clothes. They are consulted by the communities in times of tribulation like drought,and they are able to make rain fall and they also foretell prophecies. Since many nuh overstand spirituality,these people are said to be possessed by the spirits of their ancestors,from what I overs,I am I ancestors and they are I,flesh and Irit.-so wat maybe the realm of these people is just a higher realm of consciousness of the ALL in ALL,hence they are said to be spirit mediums of Mwari.

I and I are the same kind of people as the Mhondoro. RasTafarI people have close similarities with the Mystics and Hola ones of many cultures. RasTafarI is RasTafarI, so while there are similarities with others, there are also differences.
